This is an original 8x10 artwork on a 1-1/2” deep cradled board.

A Calligraphy Chinese rice paper has been treated with photo sensitive chemicals and exposed and developed in the sun and then mounted on a cradled wood board after which melted encaustic medium and pigments are carefully applied and carefully “worked” and sculpted while still warm.
