ABOUT HELENA PALAZZI AND YELLOWHOUSE PRODUCTION
Originally from Sweden and now residing in the beautiful Hudson Valley, Helena’s journey into photography and art began as a young teenager. With a secondhand analog camera always in hand, she dedicated countless hours in a black-and-white darkroom crafted from her family’s garage, capturing the world through her unique lens.
In 1993, Helena’s path took her to her father’s homeland of Italy. There, she co-founded a photography and art studio with a group of young photographers and enrolled at the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts ‘Pietro Vanucci’ in Perugia, located in the heart of Umbria.
This period was instrumental in shaping her artistic vision and technical skills.
In 1998, Helena moved to New York City, determined to establish herself in the realm of Fashion photography. Her distinctive, refined images quickly gained recognition, leading to collaborations with some of the world’s most esteemed clients and creatives.
By 2019, Helena had settled in Kingston, NY, where she opened her premier commercial and fine art photography studio, Yellowhouse Production.
With over 20 years of experience and a diverse portfolio, Helena now focuses on creating beautiful imagery for personal branding, lifestyle portraits, and professional headshots, and fine art, serving the Hudson Valley and beyond.
